Red tide alert up over Visayas, Mindanao bays - The Manila Times Online


The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) has warned the public against harvesting and eating shellfish from the bays in some parts of Visayas and Mindanao and five other coastal areas in Bohol and Palawan found infested by the red tide toxin. The shellfish ban covers the Matarinao Bay
