Ilocos Norte placed under state of calamity due to Typhoon ‘Ompong’

Ilocos Norte province has been placed under a state of calamity due to the damage caused by Typhoon "Ompong,", the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) in Ilocos Norte said on Monday.
